Strawberry Lemon Pound Cake Ring with Cream Cheese Icing
This strawberry lemon pound cake is so tender and moist. It’s infused with almond and loaded with fresh strawberries. And with that lemony, cream cheese icing, every bite feels like a forkful of sunshine!
Cream butter + sugar together. Mix in almond extract, lemon zest, eggs and dry ingredients to create the cake batter.
Toss sliced strawberries in flour to prevent them from sinking to the bottom of the pan. Fold them into the batter.
Grease and sugar a bundt pan just before adding batter.
Spread batter into the pan and bake.
Make the cream cheese icing by combining butter, cream cheese, almond extract, powdered sugar and lemon juice.
Allow the cake to cool completely before adding icing.
